A bit more about my approach

Updated: Nov 25

Hello! I'm Anastasia. It's a pleasure to meet you, and thank you for taking the time to explore my webpage.

If you're here, I imagine you're looking for a therapist who not only understands your unique situation but also makes you feel comfortable opening up and sharing your deepest feelings and concerns. I completely understand how important it is to find the right person for this journey, and I truly respect the care you’re taking in making this decision.

In therapy, it's often said that while psychology is grounded in science—meaning many therapists may offer similar insights—what truly matters is the relationship between you and your therapist. This connection is the key to unlocking the transformative power of therapy. It's the foundation that enables meaningful change to occur.

After a session, both you and your therapist should feel aligned and on the same page. Ideally, you should feel heard, understood, and perhaps even a little lighter or more hopeful. These are the markers of a productive session.

If, on the other hand, you leave feeling confused, misunderstood, or isolated, it’s important to address those feelings with your therapist. If the discomfort persists, it may be a sign that it’s time to consider working with someone else.

As for me, I approach therapy with compassion and sensitivity, attuned to my clients’ emotions and experiences. At the same time, I offer a structured and logical framework to ensure that our work together is clear and purposeful. I blend relational therapy, which fosters warmth and depth, with evidence-based techniques from neuroscience and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which provide clarity and practical tools for change.

I work with clients from all walks of life and all genders, many of whom have experienced trauma—whether recent or long past—that continues to impact their well-being. Together, we work to break the patterns that hold them back, whether that’s struggling with boundaries or feeling stuck in unhealthy situations.

For couples, I help foster better communication and bring fresh energy into their relationships. We also explore deeper understanding and empathy for each other's needs, working through conflicts and strengthening their bond.

The clients who work with me often highlight the sense of safety and trust I create in our sessions. They appreciate the understanding and companionship I offer, as well as the clarity I bring to their inner processes. I strive to make complex emotions and experiences more accessible, empowering you to move forward with confidence.

If you're seeking a therapist who can provide both comfort and clarity, warmth and structure, and a path toward meaningful, long-term change—one that develops gradually but consistently over time—I believe I can be the right fit for you. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
